Admission to the PhD Programme in Politics and Communication—POLICOM is overseen by a curricular Committee for each of the three Curricula. As specified by the admission requirements published annually by the University of Salerno, the Committee evaluates the qualifications, the CVs, the research project and the interview to ascertain whether the candidate possesses the aptitude and basic knowledge required to successfully participate in the PhD Programme.

During the interview, the candidate will be invited to present and discuss an original research project that fits within the international debate on the topic and is deserving of international interest. The most important aspect of this interview will be the candidates’ motivations to undertake a training and research course that requires in-depth knowledge of the theories and methods of the fundamental epistemological and scientific areas of the PhD Programme
