Students with Specific Educational Needs: Flexible Study Pathways

The Degree Program’s academic regulations state that "For students with special needs, in accordance with the procedures defined in the University Academic Regulations, specific educational and tutoring activities—including those at different times or through alternative formats, along with other interventions such as the use of IT tools and distance learning—may be provided upon formal, justified request to the Degree Program Board."
This opportunity is available for:
A) Students with Certified Disabilities or Specific Learning Disorders (SLD/DSA)
Students with certified disabilities or SLD will follow the official procedure established by the University, accessible on the dedicated page: https://www.disabilidsa.unisa.it/home
B) Students with Non-Certified, Documented Temporary Difficulties
The procedure involves the following steps:

1. The student submits a formal request detailing their need for flexibility (regarding course delivery methods and/or assessment formats) to the Chair of the Degree Program Board, attaching appropriate documentation issued by a public healthcare facility or public institution.
2. The Chair of the Degree Program Board and the DIFARMA Disability Representative evaluate the documentation provided and propose a tailored flexible pathway to meet the student's needs.
3. The Degree Program Board votes on the proposed flexible pathway for final approval.
