The bachelor degree Programme in Gestione e Valorizzazione delle Risorse Agrarie e delle Aree Protette trains professionals with expertise in the management, planning and enhancement of agricultural, forestry and environmental resources, able to work with sound technical and scientific competence and a strong commitment to the sustainability of the territory.

Over the three-year programme, students acquire 180 CFU through a practical and multidisciplinary course of study, focused on the sustainable and innovative management of agricultural systems. The programme combines agronomic knowledge with skills in crop protection, soil science, plant breeding and agricultural biotechnology, as well as economic and management tools. It also provides students with an adequate proficiency in English and includes professional training activities, such as a 150-hour internship at farms, organisations and protected areas in the local area, together with interdisciplinary laboratories designed to support entry into the labour market. The final examination consists of the development of an applied project, presented orally with the support of multimedia tools.

Graduates in Gestione e Valorizzazione delle Risorse Agrarie e delle Aree Protette may find employment in a wide range of sectors: farms and agro-industrial companies, with roles in crop management and quality control; public bodies and natural parks, in biodiversity protection and land-use planning; freelance professional practice, providing technical consultancy and designing agronomic interventions after passing the professional qualification examination; the agri-food sector, in product development and quality certification; research and innovation, at universities and experimental centres; public administration, within technical offices dealing with agriculture and the environment; as well as international cooperation and rural development.
