Career Guidance and Placement Activities for CTF Degree Program

The CTF Degree Program promotes and implements, both independently and through collaboration with other entities, a set of career guidance activities. These initiatives are coordinated by a dedicated committee that oversees extracurricular internships and Job Placement activities, with administrative and managerial support from the Internship and Job Placement Office.

The Work Accompaniment Committee is coordinated by prof. Marialuisa Saviano. The activities of the committee relevant to the Degree Program are overseen by prof. Monica Viviano.

The career guidance activities proposed by the Degree Program consist of a comprehensive set of synergistic initiatives. These activities unfold throughout the Academic Year, accompanying graduating students and recent graduates from the final years of the program through the early years after obtaining the degree.

Activation of Extra-curricular Internships and Skills Certification

For the purpose of activating extra-curricular internships aimed at facilitating entry into the workforce, the Degree Program promotes the signing of specific agreements with companies and organizations active in sectors relevant to CTF graduates for the implementation of such internships. As part of this activity, there is the possibility of certifying the acquired skills, which is crucial for job placement and subsequent professional experiences. This is achieved through the 'Skills Transparency Sheet' of the FIXO program by the Ministry of Labor. This program involves the acquisition, by the intern, of a document attesting to the experience gained and the related skills, in agreement with all parties involved: the University (Promoting Entity), the Company/Organization where the internship takes place (Hosting Entity), and the Intern (see Activation Procedure and Documentation).

Activation of Extra-curricular Internships and Career Support for CTF Graduates

To facilitate the integration into the workforce, the Degree Program promotes the establishment of specific agreements with companies and organizations operating in sectors of interest for CTF graduates. These agreements aim to implement extra-curricular internships. As part of these activities, there is an option to certify acquired skills, crucial for professional placement and subsequent career experiences, through the 'Skills Transparency Sheet' of the FIXO program by the Ministry of Labor. This involves the intern acquiring a document attesting to their experience and related skills, in collaboration with all involved parties: the University (Promoting Entity), the Company/Organization hosting the internship (Hosting Entity), and the Intern (see Activation Procedure and Documentation).

In support of the DifarmAlumni graduate community, there is an active LinkedIn Group that serves as a dynamically updated source of information. It offers an occupational overview of significant samples of CTF graduates, valuable as a basis for more detailed analyses of the current and potential career prospects of Degree Program graduates. Furthermore, the Degree Program, through the Committee and the Internship and Job Placement Office, collaborates with the University's Placement Office. It selects additional initiatives of interest for CTF graduates and widely disseminates them through the Department's communication channels (Website, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn). This service, which utilizes the University's databases, provides students, graduates, and alumni with tools and online resources for searching internship and job opportunities both in Italy and abroad.

The Degree Program also promotes collaboration with external entities experienced in the recruiting field through the Committee and the Internship and Job Placement Office. It selects initiatives that offer opportunities for career advancement and/or orientation, catering to the interests of the Degree Program.

All career support initiatives are extensively communicated through dedicated communication channels on the Department's institutional and social media platforms.
