For the management and development of initiatives aimed at student career orientation, the University relies on the Placement Office, which serves as a meeting point between the University and the world of work. It strengthens relations between the University, local and national businesses, institutions, associations, and more generally all external stakeholders, with the goal of promoting and supporting the integration of students and graduates of the University of Salerno into the labor market.

The Office, which utilizes the University's database, provides students, soon-to-be graduates, and graduates with tools and materials — also available online — useful for finding internship and job opportunities in Italy and abroad, as well as for gaining orientation and improving knowledge of the labor market.

To manage these activities, the Department has appointed a faculty member as a coordinator, supported by administrative staff.
