Lingue e Culture Straniere Incoming Students

The Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Languages and Cultures (L-11) offers the study of two foreign languages and their respective literatures, chosen from English, French, German, Spanish, and Russian. The program is structured into two academic tracks:

  1. Language and Literature Curriculum

  2. Language for Cultural Tourism Curriculum

Both tracks provide access to the Master’s Degree Program in Modern Languages and Literatures (LM-37), and subsequently to teacher training programs for the languages and literatures studied.

The Language and Literature track focuses on linguistic, literary-historical, and translation studies. The Language for Cultural Tourism track, while maintaining a strong emphasis on foreign languages, literatures, and cultures, is geared toward applying these skills in the promotion of local heritage and in national and international tourism.

Admission to the Bachelor’s Degree Program (restricted access) requires an entrance test provided by CISIA.

University Orientation Initiatives

High schools and other educational institutions can benefit from the orientation services provided by CAOT (University Center for Orientation and Tutoring).

Starting in 2023, in collaboration with CAOT, a new orientation initiative has been launched. It features general orientation courses held partly in high schools and partly at the University. This initiative is part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR, Law 934/2022) and is designed to support students in the transition from school to university.
