REGULATION FOR THE FINAL EXAM
- After passing all the exams and education activities included in the study plan and having acquired the related credits, the student, regardless of the number of university years, is allowed to take the final exam, which is assigned 23 credits.
- The final exam of the MSc Degree program consists in the preparation and discussion of a project developed within one of the disciplines of the program, on a topic agreed upon by the student with a professor (Supervisor), who assumes the responsibility for guiding the student during the final stage of assessment. The project must be developed by the student with a wide autonomy and with significant original contributions that may be of a theoretical, methodological, design or implementation nature. The dissertation may also include the development of a project in companies or external bodies, according to modalities established by the Board of the MSc program. The paperwork is accompanied by a multimedia presentation, discussed by the candidate during the final test.3. A110-point scale is used for the final grade, with 66 being the minimum for the degree to be awarded. The Commission, with unanimous evaluation, can grant the candidate the highest marks with honors. The conduct of the final test and the proclamation of the final result are public.
- The degree grade is calculated by adding the grade of the final exam and eventual bonuses to the weighted average marks calculated in hundred-and-tenths. The Commission may allocate 0 to 9 points, based on the following criteria
- quality of the paperwork and of the final discussion: from 0 to 9 points
- 1 point if during the course of the study program the student has acquired CFU by participating in an internationalization program or by carrying out a period of international mobility.
