Registration for the "Business Innovation and Informatics" program for foreigner students is possible only through the web site of the International office.

For extra-UE citizens it is the only access, it is limited to 15 students and the deadline is April 24, 2018.

Admission Requirements

Registration for the "Business Innovation and Informatics" program requires possession of: degree or university degree of three years or another qualification obtained abroad and recognized as valid under current legislation. To be admitted to the course in Business Innovation and Informatics is required to hold the degree of the following Class: L-31 Computer Science (or corresponding former Ministerial Decree 509/99 classes). In the case of degree in different classes, you must have earned at least n. 30 ECTS overall in the sector INF / 01 and ING-INF / 05. In case of lack of curricular requirements in terms of ECTS, the Educational Council indicates the training activities necessary for their acquisition. Any additions to the curriculum in terms of credits must be acquired by the student prior to the assessment of individual preparation. It is not in any case permitted the inscription with debits.

To be admitted to the master's degree is required appropriate student personal preparation. It 'also required to hold a specialized knowledge of English as the master's degree course is taught in that language.

To matriculate at master's degree of University of Salerno, the candidate must follow the instructions below.

General information

The initial step is to check the result required evaluation test of pre-requisites for master's degree courses (two years), through the University's web site by clicking on this link. Applications for registration must be submitted exclusively on line. The web procedure described is accessible from any computer connected to the web service of the University, which also offers its own Internet Point. Registration, meet the requisite conditions, perfected with the payment of the first installment of taxes and contributions, including the stamp duty paid on a virtual basis, and regional tax for the right to education, to be carried out, under penalty of forfeiture, within the time limit. Language Requirements

The minimum required level of English proficiency is the B2 level defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment (CEFR).
Verifying the adequacy of preparation of the student staff for admission is determined by analyzing the curriculum vitae, by the Teaching Commission and, if deemed appropriate by the Board (mandatory in the case of origin from other undergraduate classes triennial other than the general above-mentioned), through personal interviews or special tests to see how the knowledge in the following areas:

  • foundations of Informatics
  • algorithms and data structures
  • databases and information systems
  • programming to the main paradigms and languages
  • english language

Are exempted from the verification of the initial preparation of the graduates with a degree at least Level 1 belongs to the class L-31 or equivalent and a good knowledge of the English language both written and oral (Level B2).
