By the end of the three-year PhD program, PhD students are expected to demonstrate English language knowledge at the C1 (CEFR) level. C1 Level knowledge is attested:

- Passing the test at the University Language Center - CLA (after the free courses provided explicitly for PhD students or after the other CLA courses provided for language certifications);

or

- Submitting to the PhD Coordinator and the PhD Board of Professors the request for recognition of the language certification achieved at the MUR (Italian Ministry of University and Research) - accredited bodies for the English language indicated at the following link

FREE ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSE FOR UNISA PhD students (CYCLE XXXIX) - Spring 2024

The results of the PhD students' English language entry test have been published by 17 January 2024.

For each PhD student there is the recommended level of the course to be attended at CLA. This is based on the result obtained in the English language entry test.

Information about dates, course schedules and definitive list of students divided by groups will not be available before MID-FEBRUARY 2024.

Please, check the web page dedicated to UNISA Doctoral Students periodically and your e-mail address provided during pre-registration. The list includes all those PhD students who have completed and submitted the required entry test by 17 January 2024 (link to page)
