Access to the Ph.D. Program in "Educational and Social Research. Society and Teaching-learning Studies" is through a public competition.
Criteria for admission to the Ph.D. program are defined by a call for applications published by the University of Salerno. A Curricular Committee for each of the 4 Curricula will evaluate the candidates' attitudes and basic knowledge necessary to participate profitably in the Ph.D through titles’ evaluation and an interview.
During the interview, the candidates will be invited to present and discuss an original research proposal up to the standard of the international debate. Emphasis will be placed on the motivation of the candidate(s) to undertake an advanced research course that requires a thorough knowledge of the theories and methods of the fundamental epistemological and scientific fields of the EDSR Doctoral Program, for which please refer to the following webpage.
