Filosofia Job Placement
Career Development Assistance
Responsible for the Philosophy Teaching Council: prof. Renato De Filippis
The degree course includes various initiatives aimed at the placement of students and support in choosing their careers.
First of all, disseminating information via email and contacting student representatives or other delegates encourages participation in university events relating directly or indirectly to the sphere of placement (Creative Lab, SeiUnisa, StartCup Campania).
The CdS, through its delegates, then regularly participates in the University initiative Job in Campus, welcoming students and interested parties to the spaces reserved for the Department of Cultural Heritage Sciences as part of the event.
In addition, it monitors the consistency with the University's Strategic Plan of the results relating to the indicators related to Accompaniment to work and studies any correction and improvement measures; in the same way, it monitors AlmaLaurea data on the employment of graduates of the Master's Degree in Philosophy, assessing which are the most interesting and most suitable outgoing professional profiles for the graduates themselves.
The degree course also makes use of the University Placement office, which operates as a meeting point between the University and the world of work to intensify relations between the University, companies in the local and national economic fabric, institutions, associations, and more generally all external actors, in order to promote and accompany the inclusion of students and graduates of the University of Salerno in the world of work. The Office, which uses the University database, provides students, undergraduates, and graduates with tools and materials that can also be consulted online, helpful in searching for internship and job opportunities in Italy and abroad to orient themselves and improve their knowledge of the world of work.
