Students in the first 18 months of their PhD programs, in agreement with their Advisors, may apply for a double-title program in cooperation with a Foreign University with a PhD Program related to Information Engineering. Similarly, students from a Foreign University enrolled in a PhD Program related to Information Engineering, and which have not yet completed half of the program duration, may apply for a double-title program in cooperation with the University of Salerno.

In case there is not already a frame agreement on double-title programs between the University of Salerno and the Foreign University, the double-title program will be activated only if an agreement (either for the specific student, or a frame agreement) can be reached and subscribed by both the Universities.

The rules and the criteria used for the evaluation of applications to a double-title program are described in the “PhD program in Information Engineering Rules and Regulations” document (Regolamento Didattico del Dottorato in Ingegneria dell’Informazione), articles 10 and 11.

For cycle 38 of the Phd program there is one double-title program currently active, in collaboration with the University of Groningen (the Netherlands).
