Tutoring

Student orientation activities are carried out mainly by a faculty committee in collaboration with the University Guidance and Tutoring Center CAOT.

Academic advising activities are published in the incoming students and ongoing advising committee web page.

Given the peculiarities of the degree in Statistics for Big Data, the orientation activities are coordinated by the two departments involved, DiSES and the DISA-MIS, and are associated with additional activities organized for secondary school students by the faculty members. These activities, specifically provided for the students of the fourth and fifth year, are intended to illustrate not only the study course but also to highlight the implications and the use of Big Data in the different areas of everyday life.
