The committee normally meets at the beginning of the first semester of the academic year to establish the activities to be carried out and assign the various tasks and timelines to the committee members who will be responsible for them, and at the beginning of the second semester to evaluate the actions carried out and plan those to be completed by the end of the year. For normal activities throughout the year, the head of the committe and the committee members communicate with each other via e-mail.
The Placement Committee organizes annual seminars or introductory workshops to the profession of Biologist (both Junior and Senior), aimed at students and graduates, with the involvement of representatives of the Order of Biologists and other Professionals working in the area.
In addition, communication channels based on "social networks" are active, dedicated to the dissemination of news about job opportunities, training and post-graduate internships, Research Fellowships, and for the dissemination of information that may be useful for undergraduates and recent graduates. The "social" communication channels complement the traditional communication channels already in place, but with a greater capacity to make available news and information of interest to young Biologists.
