The degree program benefits from the orientation services offered by the DIEM Orientation Committee and the University Center for Orientation and Tutoring (CAOT).

These services include targeted initiatives such as the UNISA Orienta Experience, organized in accordance with DM 934/2022. This initiative, led by the program’s faculty, offers orientation courses designed to help students explore post-secondary education options, understand educational opportunities and the higher education system, and increase awareness of their own skills and career prospects. It aims to provide students with the tools necessary to develop an independent and informed educational and professional plan. The content, methods, and schedule of the initiative are planned in collaboration with the CAOT.

Additionally, every year the Orientation Committee organizes:

• Orientation sessions at interested schools.
• Guided tours of the department’s facilities and laboratories.
• Competitions, such as the RobotCup@School, an event that engages schools in practical and stimulating robotics activities.
