Ingegneria Informatica Swift App Development Bootcamp
What is it?
A training program for Full Stack developers of native iOS/iPadOS mobile apps, guiding participants “from idea to product” using the Swift programming language.
It’s not just about technical development skills but also includes a focus on user experience, market analysis, the publication process, and much more.
Who is it for?
The program is aimed at third-year Bachelor’s Degree students in Computer Engineering who are currently enrolled and have earned at least 120 ECTS credits (CFU).
Which methodologies?
The course employs innovative learning methods.
In addition to individual training, participants will engage in numerous challenges and collaborative team projects.
Development Kit
Each participant is provided with a MacBook for the duration of the session, used for exercises and project development.
Each team is given an iPad for testing the developed application.
Duration
5 weeks
- 2 weekly full-time sessions (8 hours each) in person
- 40 hours of lectures with an instructor
- 40 hours of practical/project work in teams with tutor support
- 40 hours of independent work
How to participate
- Registration is required via Esse3.
- Participants must pass a selection test:
- Conducted on an e-learning platform using a personal computer and Lockdown Browser.
- Multiple-choice questions on:
- Logic and programming
- Algorithms and data structures
- Object-Oriented Programming and JAVA
- Databases and SQL
- The overall score considers the test result and the academic record (weighted average of exam grades and the number of ECTS credits earned).

Related Opportunities
Participants can extend their independent work and project activities for an additional 80 hours:
- 48 hours in teams (autonomous and unsupervised mode)
- 32 hours with tutor support (in-class synchronous mode)
Upon request and approval by the Computer Engineering Academic Council, the total activity can be recognized as an 8-ECTS (200 hours) curricular internship.
