To enroll in the master's degree program in SNS, you must have a degree in the L-30 Physical Sciences and Technologies class (or corresponding class ex D.M. 509/99) or, in the case of degrees in different classes, have acquired no less than 60 credits in courses in the Scientific-Disciplinary Sectors FIS/*, no less than 20 in courses in the Sectors MAT/* and INF/01, and no less than 10 credits in courses in the Sectors CHIM/03 and CHIM/06

- register on ESSE3.

In the event of a lack of curricular requirements in terms of SSD/CFU, the Teaching Council will indicate the training activities necessary for their acquisition. In any case, enrollment in the master's degree program with educational debts is not permitted, therefore any curricular additions in terms of CFU must be acquired by the student before enrollment.

To be admitted to the master's degree program in Nanotechnology and Physics for Sustainability, students must also have an adequate personal knowledge and a complete familiarity with the scientific method, together with specific knowledge in the fields of mathematics, physics, and basic chemistry. In particular, in addition to a solid background in classical physics, knowledge of the fundamentals of quantum mechanics and their application to matter physics and nuclear physics, fluid dynamics and transport phenomena, as well as knowledge of the mathematical methods essential for understanding modern physics, is required. Finally, familiarity with the use of computer equipment and electronic laboratory instruments is required.

The possession of the curricular requirements and the adequacy of the personal preparation for admission will be verified by examining the graduate's university career and, if necessary, by conducting an interview aimed at assessing the student's level of preparation, according to the procedures defined in the course's teaching regulations.
