Course Calendar A.Y. 2022/2023

I Semester - Lessons will take place in the period September 22th - December 22th, 2022

I Session of exams - Period January 9th - February 24th, 2023

There are two exam sessions for each course

II Semester - Lectures will take place in the period February 27th - June 9th, 2023, with a break for Easter holidays from April 6th to 11th, 2023

Extraordinary session - Period April 3rd-28th April, 2023

Reserved to:

  • students of the three-year degree out of course
  • students of the current three-year degree who have acquired at least 120 credits
  • master's degree students

II Session of Exams - Period June 12th - July 28th, 2023

III Session of Exams - Period September 1st - 22th, 2023

There is one exam session for each course.

IV Session of Exams - Period October 30th- December 1st, 2023

There is one exam session for each course.

Calendar of Examinations

Starting from June 1st, 2022 it is strictly forbidden to do remote exams, for any reason, under penalty of cancellation of the exam itself. The exams highlighted in yellow also include a written test. For these exams, the data reported refer precisely to this test. The data corresponding to the oral exam will be communicated by the course teacher directly to the interested students.

Calendar of Examinations for Other Activities I Semester 2022/23

In order to obtain the 3 credits of "Other knowledge useful for the working world" envisaged by the Study Plan, the following activities, duly documented, are admitted:

  • traineeships in schools, companies, laboratories;
  • acquisition of computer skills (e.g. ECDL or ICDL);
  • acquisition of additional linguistic skills: English at level C1 of the CEFR or another foreign language at level at least A2 of the CEFR;
  • participation in a cycle of disciplinary seminars, activated by the Department of Mathematics.

With reference to the cycle of disciplinary seminars, there will be a series of 9 seminars on mathematical disciplines, which will offer students the opportunity to acquire advanced knowledge on mathematical topics, and also to receive indications for future choices, for example connected to the thesis or post-graduate courses. The seminar calendar is attached below.

The students of the bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, who will attend the seminars, will acquire 3 credits of "Other useful knowledge for the working world", provided that they attend at least 6 seminars out of 9, for two of which they have presented in-depth reports and have obtained a positive assessment. The attendance register, signed by the persons in charge of the seminars, must be sent to prof. Luca Vitagliano. For more information, please contact prof. N.B.: For the registration of the 3 credits, starting from April 2023, dedicated exam sessions will be available on ESSE3. Interested students, who meet the necessary requirements, will have to book for the chosen session, as for any other exam. Registration will take place in presence on the date set for the exam session, subject to verification of the requirements.

It remains the obligation of forwarding to the careers office, by opening a ticket via HelpDesk:

  1. requests for recognition, together with the pertinent documentation, in case one of the qualifications listed above is held, or
  2. the end-of-traineeship documentation (internal or external). These requests (or end-of-traineeship documents) must be sent well ahead of time for the necessary checks by the Teaching Council and in any case within the deadlines for booking for the exam session.
