Curricular Internship

For students enrolled in the Master's Degree program, there is a mandatory curricular internship activity worth 5 credits, equivalent to 125 working hours (approximately 2 months).

The internship is designed to complement the academic curriculum and aims at educational objectives and/or acquiring knowledge of the professional world; therefore, it does not constitute an employment relationship.

During the internship, the training activity is supervised and evaluated by an academic tutor appointed by the Program (CdS), who acts as the educational-organizational supervisor, and by a company tutor appointed by the Hosting Entity.

WHEN TO UNDERTAKE THE INTERNSHIP

Starting from the year in which it is included in the study plan (2nd year).

Activities can be verbalized only after the student has included the internship in their study plan, and they must be completed and recorded like other examinations.

TYPES OF INTERNSHIPS

Depending on the internship placement location, various types can be distinguished, each necessitating unique activation procedures:

  • Internal if carried out within facilities affiliated with the Department or within University offices.
  • External if carried out at a company external to UNISA. You can either propose a company yourself or select from those already affiliated with the university.
  • Abroad if carried out in European or non-European countries, either within mobility programs (e.g., Erasmus Traineeship) or independently.

Administrative practices related to internships

All administrative activities for the management of internships are exclusively carried out online.

It will be the responsibility of the Didactic Office of the DISPC to proceed with the request for digital signatures from the academic tutor and the promoter subject, the President of the Didactic Council.

For information and support, please write to tirocini.dispc@unisa.it or contact the internship coordinator of the Course of Study, Professor Rosanna Manzo rmanzo@unisa.it
